Jethalal Champaklal Gada (Dilip Joshi) is the most popular character (cast) in SabTV’s most popular Hindi TV serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He can express any gesture through his face and also has a great sense of humour. His eyes always search for “Babita” whenever is in the gallery. He has a beautiful wife Daya Gada and a naughtiest son Tipendra (Tapu). His father Champaklal Gada who is a respectable person in the society also lives with him. He is an obedient son and never argues with his father. He is the funniest character in this TV serial.

Jethalal’s original name is Dilip Joshi and he is Gujarati by born. He was born on 26th May, 1968 at Porbandar in Gujarat state of India. He started his career in the year 1989 and still active in most TV serials and small part of film industry.

Currently he is playing role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada role in the most popular TV serial Taarak mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah. Before appearing in this TV drama, he was also appeared in so many films, TV serials and advertisement. He has also played best roles in TV projects like Hum Sub Ek Hain, Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Meri Biwi Wonderful and others.

He first appeared in TV project/serial “Galatnaama”. After becoming successful in this TV serial he got a chance to appear in “Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh” as role of Vasu in the year 1995. After he hasn’t look back due to his success and best performance in various TV serials.

Dilip Joshi has started his career with film “Maine Pyar Kya” in the year 1989. His last film was “What’s your Raashee?”” as role of Jitubhai and “Dhoondhte Reh Jaaoge” as role of Mama nautanki.

    But you seemed to be funny and nice when you were fat
    Don’t mind but you looked good and funny when you were fat
    Now you have lost 10kg so now you are looking less good
    But overall you are the best actor ever….

    jilebi phapda kaise banate hi aap se hum seekha aur try bhi kiya bht acha bigaad diya sir .

  • hi,.. wonderful acting.. i never watch tv serials though i like comedy very much. but when i watched this serial first time , i found this is very funny and interesting… now i watch the repeat telecast of this serial for 2-3 hrs on saturday.. i find this very good, jovial and a desi taste.. one can just laugh and laugh.. good reason to waqtch this since we have not too many reasons to laugh now a days.. and wondeful acting my dilip joshi.. congrats.. keep us laughing..thanks
